Welcome to the Red Oak Family Centre

There are four Family Centres that cover the borough of Reigate & Banstead, based in Merstham, Redhill, Horley & Epsom Downs.

The Red Oak Family Centre is located on the site of Furzefield Primary School, at the heart of the Merstham community and we offer support for families with children aged 0-11 years old.

Our role at the family centre is Helping Families Early; supporting families with children aged 0-11 years old, to help improve certain areas of their lives.
We have a team of specialised Family Support Workers who work directly with families to build family resilience using a solution focused approach.
We offer tailored support around the needs of each family including parenting, special educational needs, behaviour, education, mental health and much more.  Referrals for this service are made through the Surrey’s Children’s Single Point of Access (C-SPA).

We also offer families in the community, the opportunity to attend weekly groups and courses.  These include parenting workshops and support groups,
SEND support, stay and play sessions for under 5s, baby group, sing and sign courses, first aid courses, school holiday activities and many more.

We offer families support with advice and information on local services; child health and development clinics, Healthy Start vitamins,
Foodbank support, midwife clinics, FEET funding advice.
